The staff and management at Lakeside Behavioral Healthcare are here to assist our consumers individual needs in a safe and therapeutically structured environment during their inpatient stay. We are providing this information to you as a reference guide for frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to ask any staff member. Communication Consumers may make phone calls at scheduled phone times. Lakeside physicians have the right to restrict communication in cases of abuse, harassing others by phone or calling 911 without cause. When you call to obtain information about a consumer on the unit, you will be asked to provide his/her ID number for confidentiality purposes. If you want to leave a message for a consumer, please call 407-875-3700, ext. 2345. Your feedback is always welcome. If you have any concerns, please feel free to contact a unit manager or our Consumer Relations Specialist at 407-875-3700, ext. 2692.

VisitationWhen you come to visit, you will be asked to provide a picture ID.Visitors under the age of 18 are not permitted on the units.Please be aware that visiting hours may vary. - As prohibited by law, families, friends and vendors are not permitted to bring food onto the unit. Only items prepared by Lakesides Dietary Services are permitted. All medical or religious requirements will be followed.

Community Assistance- You can obtain further assistance by contacting the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) at 407-657-6264.
- Other community resources can be obtained by calling 211.
- If you or someone you know is ever in crisis, please call 911 and ask for a CIT, Crisis Intervention Team, and officer to be dispatched. These officers have undergone additional training to handle mental health/substance use situations in the community.
